Thermal insulation
A U-value below 0.40 W/m²·K meets the current requirements for temperate zones in building thermal regulations.
That is the Latitude Holding reference for external walls.
Acoustic insulation
In Portugal, the building acoustic requirements regulation (RRAE) sets the airborne sound insulation index between the outside and bedrooms or living rooms at no less than:
- D2m,nT,w ≥ 33 dB in mixed zones
- D2m,nT,w ≥ 28 dB in sensitive zones
Our reference is 45 dB, which puts wall performance well above the regulatory minimum.
